Poverty & Death Penalty
The connection between Poverty and Death penalty lies on the fact that many nations suffer poverty tends to make an act which can benefit to the person and has a negative outcome towards the other person.
As we can see today rampant committed crimes by an individual is the result of poverty just like for example when a person is lack of money to support his family’s wants and needs, he may engage into illegal activity such as Rubbery, assassination, human trafficking, drug pushing and other activities which can destroy his reputation for the sake of his family and other means. In my own opinion, for me the schemes of person are slightly moral but the result is totally immoral due to rubbery, drug pushing and other activity that may destroy other life is immoral. When violating the norms of society the consequence of accountability is faced by an agent and the punishment of this depends on the weight of crime that the agent committed. Currently “Reclusion Perpetua” is the one that we are implementing today by our higher authorities for the punishment of those who committed heinous crimes, but in the past this was not recognize because our higher authorities believed that Reclusion Perpetua is letting the agent to live without punishment of his evil acts. In the late years those who committed serious crimes such as Incest, Rape, Extortion and other serious crimes are subject to death penalty or National Penalty. This is based on the eye for an eye it means whatever acts done to other people will be also applied to you: for example when you stab a person and you’re caught by the authorities the punishment will be the same as what you did into the latter. But this was abolished centuries ago. Another example is Europe country in late centuries: If you committed a crime the penal of it is beheading the person’s head or placing the neck in the guillotine (A device use for beheading a person’s head built with razor sharp blades, vertical wooden frame with grooves for a heavy sliding blade to be dropped from a height onto the person’s neck.) but consequently after centuries past this was totally erased and the replacement of it was lethal injection as what is used by Leo Echegaray’s death. His death brought a controversy to the legality and the morality of the Philippines.
The cause of Poverty is the result of Death Penalty. Is anyone of you concurring in this statement? If I am not mistaken I agree in this statement in some instances. Stating an event- Leo Echegaray is a person who is passionate for sex (as we are too), and he can’t control his lust, probably in his young age living in a poor society where education is not present and violence are ruling the environment, I think this is the negative factor that molds Leo Echegaray’s immoral conduct. The result of ignorance and lust, that leads him to his death. A penalty which imposed by a higher authority, that debated in its legality and morality of the Philippines.
